Consumer Products Safety Commisson – Recall Information
To Our Valued Customers:
In response to the Consumer Products Safety Act, resale, thrift and consignment stores waited anxiously for the CPSC to clarify requirements for new lead laws that went into effect February 10, 2009. The Commission has stated that all resale, thrift and consignment stores are NOT required to retain lead certifications on the products that are sold in their stores. They are required to be diligent on recalled items that may come through their doors.
Here at Ladybugs & Lizards, all our toys and equipment are checked for recall before they are placed on the showroom floor. We get daily updates from the CPSC on ALL recalled items. If there is a new recall issued for an item we have on the sales floor, it will be pulled and not sold.
Rest assured that all equipment and furniture, toys and clothing at Ladybugs & Lizards are checked for safety and suitability for selling.
